Sri Lakshmi Balaji Granites

Sri Lakshmi Balaji Granites is located in Kondakavuru Village at 225/B1. It’s a bit of a rural setting here in the Mandal area, which actually suits the granite business quite well. We have plenty of space for the stone, though it does get pretty dusty when the wind picks up. The village life is slow, but the work we do is quite heavy and constant. Most of us are from around here, so we know everyone in the neighborhood. We don't have a fancy showroom with air conditioning; it’s more of an open-air kind of operation where you can see the slabs right where they are kept. People usually find us by asking around the village or looking for the 225/B1 plot. It’s a lot of physical labor, moving the stones and getting them ready for transport. We spend most of our time out in the yard or in the small office area checking the logs. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from sunrise to sunset. There isn't a lot of fluff in how we talk to people. We just show them what we have in stock and tell them how much it is. Sometimes we sit around and talk about the weather or how the crops are doing nearby, as it’s that kind of place. We’ve been here for a good while and the granite business is just part of the local landscape now.
