Down in Piduguralla, right near the Andhra Bank, you’ll find our yard. We handle cement products, so the whole place is usually covered in a thin layer of grey dust. It’s just the nature of the work. We’ve got the heavy machinery going most of the day. It’s loud and it’s hot, especially in the afternoons. Dr.No.9-20 is where we keep the finished blocks and pipes. We don't have a fancy showroom with air conditioning. If you come to see us, you’re going to be standing out in the yard or in the small office by the gate. We’ve been supplying the local builders for some time now. They know where we are. We don't spend money on big signs or flyers. Word of mouth works well enough around here. It’s a tough business because the materials are heavy and the margins are thin. We just focus on making sure the mix is right and the products are solid. Sometimes the trucks get delayed or the weather ruins a batch that’s drying, but that’s just part of the grind. We don't pretend to be anything we aren't. We’re just a local supplier making stuff that holds buildings up. Most days we are just busy loading trailers or checking the inventory against the orders coming in. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living in this part of town.
