Mahalakshmi Granites

Here at Mahalakshmi Granites, we are located at 54-6-87 on Rashtra Pati Road in Deviramanahalli. It’s a pretty straightforward spot. We deal with granite all day long. The air usually smells like damp stone and diesel from the machines. We have been here for a while and the locals know where to find us. It’s not a fancy setup. We have the slabs lined up in the yard and a small area where we do the paperwork. Most of our time is spent out in the sun or under the tin roof when it rains. We don't have a lot of staff, so everyone chips in with everything. If a truck arrives, we all go out to help unload. We’ve seen a lot of changes in the neighborhood over the years, but our little corner stays mostly the same. The walls are stained with dust and the floors are rough, but that’s just the nature of working with rock. We don't try to impress anyone with big speeches. We just show you the granite we have and tell you the price. It’s simple. Sometimes we run out of certain colors and have to wait for the next shipment to arrive. That’s just part of the business. We keep at it every day, from early morning until the evening. If we aren't at the desk, we are probably out back moving the heavy stuff or cleaning the tools.
