We’ve been here on Debur Main Road for a bit now. It's just past the Nanjangud Post. People in the Mysore district know this area well. Karthik is what we go by. It’s not a big fancy office or anything like that. Just a place where we get the work done every day. Sometimes the road gets dusty when the trucks go by, but that’s just how it is around here. We started out small and stayed that way mostly. There are a few of us who come in early to get things ready. My cousin helps out sometimes too. We handle things as they come. It’s not always easy keeping everything organized when it gets busy, but we manage. You can see the sign from the main road if you look closely. Most people just stop by because they know where we are. We don’t spend much time on the computer or making things look pretty for the internet. It’s more about the actual work. Usually, we finish up around sunset. There’s a tea stall nearby where we go during breaks. It’s a quiet spot most of the time except for the traffic. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. New buildings coming up, but we’re still here at the same spot. It works for us. The gate needs a bit of oil, it squeaks in the morning. We keep the ledger on the old wooden desk near the window. That’s where most of the talking happens when someone comes in. We like the morning sun through the glass.
