Jsw Cements Ltd is situated out at 45-88 Gadivemula Road. We are in the Bilakalaguduru area of Gadivemula, which is a part of Kurnool. It is a bit of a drive from the main city, so it is relatively peaceful out here, even if the cement operations stay loud during the shift. We have a good amount of space on Gadivemula Road to handle all the equipment. Most of our day is taken up by the logistics of moving heavy cement loads. It is a large operation, but the team we have here is just regular folks from the nearby villages. We wear our standard work clothes and do not really care about looking polished or professional in the corporate sense. There is always a layer of grey dust on the desks and the floors, but you stop noticing it after you have worked here for a week. We have a small canteen where we eat our lunch together, and that is usually the best part of the day for catching up. It is not like a city office where people stay quiet. We are always moving around, checking the machines or talking to the truck drivers about the roads. The weather in Kurnool can be very harsh, especially in the summer heat, but we just keep going. We do not have any fancy goals. We just make sure the cement is ready for the customers. It is just hard work in Bilakalaguduru.
