Shri Vishwakarma Shilpkala Udyog

Our workshop, Shri Vishwakarma Shilpkala Udyog, is located in Malakoli, which is part of the Loha taluka in Nanded. We are right on the main road, not far from the Loha bus stand. It’s a very practical location because everyone knows where the bus stand is. The area is always full of people traveling from one village to another. Our workshop is a busy place, and it’s usually quite loud with the sound of tools and work being done. We don't have a fancy office or a showroom. It’s just a big space where we handle all our production. There is usually dust on the floor and scraps of material in the corners, but that’s just the nature of our work. We’ve been here for many years and many of the local people know who we are. We don't do any advertising. People just know us because they see us working every day when they pass by on the main road. It’s a hard life sometimes, working in the heat, but we take pride in what we do with our hands. We start early in the morning before it gets too hot and keep going until the work is finished for the day. It’s a simple operation and we like being part of the life in Loha. If you’re ever near the bus stand, you’ll probably hear us before you see us.
