We are located in Bhawani Nagar in the town of Kandhar. It is a nice enough spot for a coaching center because it is away from the loudest parts of the main market. These classes started because we saw that many students were struggling to finish their assignments on their own. Our setup is very modest. We have a few rooms with tables and chairs where the students sit for their lessons. Since there is no receptionist, parents just come straight into the classroom if they want to talk. We focus a lot on the basics because that is usually where the problems start. If the foundation is good, the rest becomes easier for them. Much of our time is spent repeating the difficult parts until everyone in the group gets it. It’s not a fast process, but it works for the kids here. Sometimes we have tea together during the breaks. We know most of the families in Bhawani Nagar quite well. It feels more like a community gathering than a formal school sometimes. We don't use any fancy software or computers, just pens and paper and the books they bring from school. Our goal is just to help them get their grades up and feel a bit more confident. It’s a simple life and the work is steady. We just take things one day at a time with the students. It is important to stay patient when things get a bit confusing for them.
