You can find us right at Shivaji Chowk in Bhokar, which is very close to the Tahsildar Karyalaya. It is a very central location so the students don't have to travel far to reach us. Being near the government offices means there is always a lot of activity outside, but inside our rooms, we try to keep things focused on the books. We have a few different batches throughout the day. Some kids come early and some come quite late after their other activities. No expensive equipment is used here. We just use the standard textbooks and a lot of paper for practice. Our walls have some charts on them, but that is about it for decoration. Sitting down and doing the hard work is the main thing. If a student has a question, they just ask, and we try to explain it in a way that makes sense to them. We don't use big words or complex theories. It is just about getting through the school year and making sure they understand what they are reading. Some of the benches are a little wobbly, but nobody seems to mind much. We see a lot of the same faces year after year as the younger siblings start coming in too. It’s a good feeling to be part of the neighborhood like that. We just show up every day, open the doors, and get to work with whoever is there. It keeps us busy and the students learning.
