Jaya Marble

You can find us over near Toda Naka on Malegaon Road. We’re right by the Bhakti Lounch and the Jaya Mandir. It’s a busy intersection, so there’s always dust and noise from the road, but that’s just life at a marble yard. We’ve been here at Jaya Marble for a long time. Our space is mostly open to the air, filled with slabs of stone and the sound of machines every now and then. It’s heavy work, moving marble around and making sure it doesn't get chipped. Our clothes usually have a bit of stone dust on them by the end of the shift. The team here is used to the sun and the physical nature of the job. We don't have a fancy showroom with air conditioning; we just have the stone and a small office where we handle the bills and talk to folks who stop by. People usually come in looking for something specific for their homes, and we just show them what we’ve got in stock. It’s a simple way of doing business. We know the Malegaon Road area like the back of our hands. Most of us have lived around here our whole lives. We don't use any big words to describe what we do. We just sell marble, help load it up, and make sure the yard stays organized. It’s honest work, and we’re proud to be a part of the local community.
