Dharmabad Chilli Powder Association

We are located right near the railway gate number two in Ganesh Nagar, Dharmabad. It is a dusty area but we spend most of our days here working with chilli powder. Our group is called the Dharmabad Chilli Powder Association and we operate out of Ram Lolapod’s place. It’s not some fancy corporate office, just a practical space where we handle the grinding and bagging of the spices. The smell of the chillies is quite strong, so you can usually find us just by following your nose. Sometimes the trains going past are really loud and make the whole place shake a little, but we have gotten used to it over the years. We handle all the local spice needs and keep the bags stacked high. It is a lot of hard, manual work and we don't have time for big marketing plans. People in the neighborhood know where we are if they need supplies. We try to keep things simple and just focus on the task at hand. The weather gets really hot here in Dharmabad, which makes the work even tougher, but we keep going. We don't have a big sign out front, just the work going on inside. Most of us have lived in this part of town forever. We are just a local bunch of people doing what we know how to do best with the tools we have.
