We are based over at the Swami Ramanand Tirth Marathwada University campus in Vishnupuri, Nanded. It’s a quiet spot, away from the main rush of the city. The Centre For Agro-Bio Innovation And Incubation Foundation is basically a place where people come with their ideas for farming. It’s not a corporate headquarters. It’s more like a workshop or a lab where things are a bit messy because people are actually working. We have students, researchers, and local farmers coming in and out all the time. Sometimes the equipment doesn't work right, or an experiment doesn't go as planned, and that’s just how it is. We spend a lot of time drinking tea in the canteen and discussing how to make seeds grow better or how to help a new business get off the ground. It’s an incubation center, which just means we try to give a little help to folks starting out in the agro-bio world. The university grounds are big, and we are just one part of it. We don't have a polished mission statement or anything like that. We just look at what's in front of us and try to figure out if it can work in the real world. It’s a lot of trial and error. We’re just a group of people in Nanded who think agriculture could use some fresh ideas, and we’re trying to provide a space for that to happen.
