Amalapur School

Amalapur School is right in the middle of Amalapur, which is a small area in Nanded. The code is 431803. It’s a quiet village school, nothing like those big ones you see in the cities. We have a few simple rooms where the students sit for their lessons. The building is old and has been here for many years. We have some trees in the yard that give us a bit of shade when it’s hot. Most of the children who come here live just a short walk away. They bring their lunch in small boxes and eat together outside. We don't have a lot of equipment, just the basic things like blackboards and chalk. The staff is small, just a few of us who handle everything from teaching to cleaning up. Nanded is the closest big town, but out here in Amalapur, things move much slower. We don't have a lot of traffic or noise. Sometimes you can hear the birds or the wind in the trees while we are in class. It’s a peaceful place to work. We spend our days going through the books and making sure the children know their lessons. It’s a lot of repetition, but that’s how they learn. We’ve been here so long that we taught some of the parents of the kids who are here now. It’s just a regular part of the village life and we like it that way.
