Ultra Cement Agency

Ultra Cement Agency is located on Katcheri Street, right on Velur Road in Mahadhavapuram. We are quite close to the old bus stand in Tiruchengode, so it stays pretty crowded around here. You can hear the buses and the horns all day long. The shop has been here for a while and we mostly deal with cement bags for local construction work. It’s a dusty business, honestly. Every time we move a stack, there’s a bit of a cloud. I try to keep the place organized but with so many deliveries coming in from the trucks, it stays messy. Katcheri Street is a narrow one, so when the big lorries arrive, it gets a bit tight for the cars passing by. People in Mahadhavapuram know where to find us if they are putting up a wall or fixing a roof. We don't do any big advertising or have a shiny sign. It’s just a regular agency where we handle the paperwork and make sure the cement gets to where it’s going. Sometimes the heat in Tiruchengode is really something else, especially in the afternoons. We sit inside the shop and drink tea while waiting for the next customer to show up. It’s not a complicated job but it keeps us busy from morning till evening. Most of the people who come in are neighbors or local contractors we’ve known for years. We just keep things moving.
