Sai Blue Metal

We’ve been running Sai Blue Metal on Erode Road for some time now. Our yard at 533 in Palanipuram is where we spend all our daylight hours. It’s a practical setup, mostly just space for the different sizes of stone and the machinery we use to move it all around. Working with blue metal is heavy work, and it’s definitely not for everyone. The dust is everywhere, and the sun beats down on the open lot pretty hard during the summer months. We don't have any fancy brochures or a big sales team, just a few of us making sure the orders get filled. Local contractors usually just stop by to see what we have in stock and tell us where to send the tractor or truck. We try to keep things moving so nobody is standing around waiting. Sometimes a machine breaks down, and that slows everything up, but we usually get it fixed up by the next day. It’s a straightforward life here in Palanipuram. We know the roads well and we know the people who buy from us. We don’t make any big promises, we just give you the stone you paid for. It’s hard, honest work that makes you tired by evening, but it’s a living. We’re just glad to be a small part of how things get built around here. It isn't easy, but we have been doing it for years and plan to keep going as long as there is building to do.
