We are based out of Naducombai, over in the Kalappanaickenpatty area. Our office is at number 37, which is a pretty easy place to find once you get into the village. It’s a different pace of life here compared to the big cities. Being an engineering and construction company, we spend a lot of our time out on sites, but this is where all the planning and the boring paperwork happens. The office is often filled with rolls of drawings and boots that have seen better days. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that; usually, whoever is closest to the door just looks up when someone walks in. The walls have a few maps and calendars pinned to them to keep us on track. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, so the fan is always running. We talk a lot about materials, costs, and how to get things built right. It’s a lot of practical problem-solving. We know the local people here and most of our work comes from word of mouth around the area. It’s not a polished corporate environment, just a place where we sit down to figure out how to make things work. Sometimes we spend hours just arguing over a specific detail in a plan. It’s just how we operate. We like being in Naducombai because it’s home for most of us and the commute is just a short walk or a quick bike ride. It’s a good way to live.
