Quantity Surveyor & Billing Engineer

I am S. Rajesh, and I work as a Quantity Surveyor and Billing Engineer. My office is at 18A/55A West Street, in the Pothanur area of Namakkal district. I’ve been doing this kind of work for quite some time now, after getting my B.E. degree. My day is mostly filled with numbers, spreadsheets, and site measurements. It’s the kind of job that requires a lot of focus because a small mistake in billing can cause a lot of headaches later. I don't have a big corporate setup. It's just me working from this spot on West Street. Pothanur is a good, quiet place for the kind of thinking I have to do. I handle the quantities for construction projects and sort out the bills for contractors. It’s practical work. I don't use any fancy talk to describe it. I just look at the drawings, calculate the materials, and make sure the costs are tracked properly. People around Namakkal know I’m here if they need help with their project budgets. Sometimes I have to travel to different sites, but I always come back here to do the final calculations. It’s a bit of a grind sometimes, especially when there are tons of invoices to go through, but I like the logic of it. Everything has to add up in the end, or the job isn't done right. It keeps me busy and keeps the projects moving forward.
