Ponsuns Rubber Industry

Ponsuns Rubber Industry is located at No. 67 Ashok Nagar in Sp Pudur. It is more of a workshop and factory space than an office. We have several machines for working with rubber and a small area where we keep our paperwork. The first thing you notice when you walk in is the strong smell of the materials, but after you’ve been here for a few years, you don't even notice it anymore. The floors are made of thick concrete and they are often covered in bits of debris from the production process. We are a small local industry and most of our staff live nearby in Namakkal. It gets quite warm in here during the summer months, especially when the machines have been running since six in the morning. We have a simple water cooler and some fans, but it’s still tough work. We aren't a big company with a lot of hierarchy. We all just pitch in where it’s needed. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we have to spend the whole afternoon fixing it ourselves. We don't have a fancy showroom for our products. If someone wants to see what we make, they just come into the main work area. It’s honest, physical work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We just focus on making things that work and getting the orders out on time. It is a basic setup but it gets the job done.
