Om Muruga Blue Metal

We’ve been out here at 26, Karanampettai in Inchipatti for quite a while now. It’s a busy spot and mostly we spend our days dealing with the heavy stuff. If you come by the yard, you’ll see the piles of blue metal and the trucks coming in and out constantly. It gets pretty dusty, especially when the wind picks up across the open space, but that’s just how it is when you’re working with stone and grit. We don’t have a fancy office or anything like that. It’s just a small desk and some chairs where we sit to handle the paperwork while the machines are running in the back. Sometimes the noise is a bit much, but you get used to it after a few years. Most of the guys here have been with us since we started. We usually start quite early in the morning before the sun gets too hot. By noon, the place is usually buzzing with activity. We aren't really about big speeches or anything like that, we just handle the loads and make sure things get where they need to go. If you’re looking for us, look for the big gate right there in Inchipatti. It isn't hard to find if you know the Karanampettai area. We keep things simple and try to get the work done without making a fuss about it. The coffee isn't great, but the work is steady and that’s what matters to us.
