You can find Venkatamma Poultry Farm & Feeds out on survey numbers 371 and 372. We are located in Namapuram village, which is part of the Marrigudem mandal. It’s a bit of a drive out from the main towns, but that’s where the space is. We have been working this land for a good while. It’s a mix of keeping the birds and dealing with the grain for the feeds. Farming is never a clean job, and it’s definitely not a nine-to-five kind of thing. The days start very early when the air is still a bit cool. We spend a lot of time moving heavy bags and making sure everything is fed and watered. It’s a very practical life out here in the village. We don't have much use for fancy office stuff. We have the sheds and the storage areas, and that’s what matters. Sometimes the rain makes the roads to the farm a bit muddy, which can be a pain for the trucks. But we just deal with it as it comes. It’s a family-run operation mostly, with everyone pitching in when things get busy. We don't really do any marketing or anything like that. People in the district know we are here, and they come to us when they need feed or birds. It’s an honest, hard-working life, and we are just trying to keep the farm going year after year without making too much of a fuss about it.
