Our factory is located at 47-2 on the Srisailam Highway in Nedunur. Being out on the highway means we see a lot of long-distance traffic passing by all day. We work with different flavors, so depending on what we are making that day, the whole place might smell like mangoes or maybe something like citrus. It’s a pretty big space since we need room for the mixing vats and all the storage drums. We have a small team here, and everyone knows what they’re supposed to do without being told too much. The floors are concrete and we keep them as clean as possible, but it’s a working plant, so there’s always something going on. We don’t have a fancy website or a big marketing team. We just focus on getting the flavors mixed and poured into the containers for shipping. Sometimes it gets really hot under the metal roof in the summer, so we have big fans going all the time. Most of the workers live in the surrounding villages and have been with us for years. It’s a lot of routine, checking temperatures and watching the scales. We just want to get the orders filled and sent out on the trucks that stop by. It’s basic, honest work that we’ve been doing for quite a long time now in this same spot.
