S P Ice Factory

We run the factory over here at 1-87-64 in Huzurnagar. It is a bit of a trek for some, but in Kodad, everyone knows where we are. It is mostly about the ice blocks and making sure the freezing units stay at the right temperature. The floors are usually a bit wet because that is just what happens in an ice factory. We don't have a storefront like the little shops in town. Our work is mostly behind the scenes, getting things ready for the local vendors. It is heavy work, lifting the blocks and moving them onto the trucks. We start really early in the morning when it is still dark and cool outside. By the time the sun is up, we are already halfway through the day's tasks. There is always something to fix, like a pump or a belt that has gone loose. We don't use fancy computers for much, just our hands and the old machinery. The noise inside is pretty constant, a low mechanical drone that you get used to after a while. It is a simple life, focused on water and cold. We have been in this spot for years and the building has seen better days, but it does the job. People come by when they need a lot of ice for a wedding or a big event. We just load them up and get back to the next batch of ice production in the tanks.
