We are based out in Seethavani Gudem, near Boodhan Pochampally. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here to Sy. No. 543a/544a, but it suits what we do at Saiteja Drugs and Intermediates. The area in Nalgonda is mostly open land, which is good for a plant like ours. We deal with chemical intermediates, so there’s a lot of testing and watching gauges. It’s not the kind of job where you stay clean all day. The facility has been here for years, and we’ve added bits to it as we went along. It’s a practical setup. The workers here know the processes well. Sometimes the heat in this part of Telangana is really something else, especially inside the plant. We just keep the cooling systems going and carry on. We aren’t trying to be the biggest company out there, just trying to be consistent. We get our raw materials in and process them. It involves a lot of waiting for reactions to finish. Most of us have been working here a long time, so we know the quirks of the machinery. There isn’t much to see if you aren’t interested in chemicals and pipes. We just focus on the batches we have to finish for the week. It’s quiet out here mostly, except for when the pumps are running. It's a long day, but we usually head out by six. The local roads can be bumpy, so shipping the barrels takes some planning. It’s just regular industrial life.
