Pardha Granite Industries

Down in Chillapur village, you’ll find Pardha Granite Industries. We are located at Sy No 278 in the Narayanpur area. It is a rugged place to work because of all the stone we move around all day. Every day is pretty much the same: we take the raw granite and figure out what needs to happen with it next. The yard is full of heavy slabs, and the noise from the saws is constant once we start cutting. You have to wear boots because there is always water and stone dust on the ground. We have a small crew here, and we’ve known each other for many years. It’s hard work, especially when the sun is beating down on the yard. We don't have a big reception area; usually, people just walk up to the shed to talk to us about what they need. If you need to find Sy No 278, it’s just off the main path in Chillapur. We deal with lots of heavy lifting and moving stuff with the old crane. Sometimes the rain slows us down, but we try to keep moving. It’s just a granite shop where we cut and store stone. There’s nothing too complicated about it. We’ve been here at this spot in Narayanpur for a long time. People from the nearby villages know us. We just focus on the stone and making sure the slabs aren't cracked. It’s a long day, but the work is steady and keeps us busy.
