Kaluva Paper Cups

Kaluva Paper Cups is situated along the Ramapuram Road in Nereducherla. We have a few different survey numbers, 287, 289, and 296, because the machines and the storage for the raw paper take up a fair amount of space. If you are driving down the road, you can't really miss it. It is just a plain building where we make the cups. It is a lot of mechanical clicking and humming all day long. We make thousands of these things, and they just pile up in the bins before we bag them up for transport. Nereducherla is a decent place to work, though the traffic on Ramapuram Road can get a bit heavy with all the tractors and trucks going by. We started this because there was a need for it, and we just kept going. The workers here are mostly locals who walk or bike in. We don't have fancy uniforms or anything. Just clothes that we don't mind getting a bit of ink or paper dust on. We spend the morning setting up the machines and the rest of the day making sure they don't jam up or run out of material. It's a basic business. We don't do much advertising; people just know we are here on the road. The office is just a desk in the corner with some old ledgers and a telephone. It is a practical way to spend the day and keeps everyone busy.
