We are set up on Ananthagiri Road. If you're driving through Nayanagar, you might miss our turn-off at Sy No/374 if you aren't looking. We make various paper items here. It started out with just one small machine and now we have a couple more. The stack of paper rolls in the corner is always taller than I am. We don't do much advertising. People just come by when they need stuff. The rain sometimes makes the road a bit muddy, which is a pain for the deliveries. Inside, it smells like paper and ink. It's a simple operation. We don't have a big HR department or corporate meetings. We just get the orders and start the machines. Sometimes we stay late when a big order comes in. My nephew helps with the cutting. We try to keep the wastage down because paper isn't cheap these days. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting and moving things around. We’ve been in this spot for a good while. The neighbors are mostly other small workshops. We help each other out with tools sometimes. It’s just a regular paper business. We show up, we do the work, and we go home. It gets repetitive but there is something nice about seeing the finished stacks at the end of the day. We are just doing what we can and keeping the cutters sharp.
