Sri Yadagiri Laxmi Nivasa Engg Works

Our shop is located on Mlg Road at Shop No 3. The full address is D No 5/8/245/A in the Bts area. It’s a bit of a mouthful to say the name, Sri Yadagiri Laxmi Nivasa Engg Works, so most people just call us the engineering shop on the corner. We have been here for a long time. The space is quite cramped because we have a lot of heavy equipment packed into a small area. It’s usually pretty loud inside with all the cutting and drilling. We don’t have any air conditioning, so we keep the front doors wide open even when it’s dusty outside. Most of our days are spent fixing things that people bring in. We don’t have a website or a social media page. We just rely on people seeing us when they drive by on Mlg Road. The walls are covered in old calendars and tools we’ve collected over the years. It’s not a polished business. We have grease on our clothes and our hands are always dirty. We just do the work as it comes. Sometimes business is slow and we just sit outside and watch the traffic go by. Other times we are working through the night to finish a repair. It’s just how it goes for a small shop like ours. We are just trying to do a decent job for the local folks who need help with their machines. It's a simple life here.
