Sathish Engineering Works

Sathish Engineering Works is situated right on the Main Road at number 3 2. It is a place where there is always the sound of metal hitting metal or the hum of a machine running in the background. We have been at this location for a long time and the Main Road is always full of traffic and people walking by. The shop itself is not very large and the walls are a bit stained from the oil and dust that comes with engineering work. We have our tools laid out on the benches and there is usually a project or two sitting on the floor waiting to be finished. We do not have a fancy reception area so people just walk right in and talk to us. It gets quite hot in the afternoons especially when we are using the welding equipment. We drink a lot of water and try to keep the fans going. Most of the work we do is for local people who need something fixed or a specific part made for their own machinery. Our hands are usually dirty by ten in the morning and they stay that way until we close up for the night. The floor is concrete and has a few cracks in it from over the years. We just focus on the job at hand and do not worry too much about the appearance of the shop. It is a basic workshop for honest engineering.
