Maruthi Mineral Water Plant

The plant is located over in Mallikarjuna Nagar Colony, specifically at Plot No 44. We are out here in Kondamadugu, which is a bit of a drive but it’s where we have the space for the tanks and the filtration setup. Every morning starts pretty early with the sound of the pumps kicking on. There is always a bit of water on the floor, no matter how much we try to keep it dry. We fill the big 20-liter cans mostly. The delivery rickshaws start lining up outside by 7 or 8 am. Bibinagar gets quite dusty, so we spend a lot of time just wiping down the containers before they go out. It’s a lot of heavy lifting, moving those jars from the filling station to the trucks. The machinery makes a constant humming noise that you eventually just stop hearing after a few hours. We get people from the colony stopping by because they prefer to pick up their own water instead of waiting for the delivery. It’s just a regular local operation here in Nalgonda. We don’t have fancy uniforms or a big sales team. It is just a few of us making sure the filters are changed and the water keeps moving. Sometimes the power goes out and everything stops, which is a headache, but that’s just part of running a plant in this area.
