Lalitha Kondeti

My name is Lalitha and I run things from my home at H. No. 1-78. I am in Peddadevulapalli, which is a village in the Thripuraram mandal. The address just says "District" at the end, but we all know we are in the heart of our local area here. It is a very simple house and I’ve turned the front porch into a bit of a workspace. I don’t have a big sign or anything like that. People just know where I am because I’ve been here so long. Most of my day is spent handling local tasks and talking to people who come by with questions. It’s not a fast-paced environment. Sometimes I sit for an hour just watching the goats pass by on the road before the next thing needs doing. My workspace has a small table and a lamp that flickers if you don't hit it just right. I do all the bookkeeping by hand in a notebook I bought at the market. It’s just me doing this work, so if I’m not there, the place is closed. I don’t have a website or anything fancy. If someone needs me, they usually just shout from the gate or send a child over with a message. It is a practical way to live and work without too much stress. The house is old, but it stays cool enough even when the sun is really beating down on the village.
