Kurapati Enterprises

Nalgonda is a big place but Velidanda is where we stay. My father Prabhakar started things a long time ago and now we keep Kurapati Enterprises going in this corner of Garidepally. Rangapuram is just down the road from us. It gets very dusty in the summer months. We have some papers and some goods, and we talk to the people who walk in. The address is a bit long if you write it all out on an envelope, but most locals just know the house. Being in Telangana, the weather is mostly hot and dry. We don't have a big staff, just us and maybe a helper if the work gets too much. We handle whatever comes our way. Sometimes the electricity goes out in the village and we just sit outside on the porch. It’s quiet in the evenings here. We don't use computers much, mostly just notebooks and pens for the books. The sign for the business is a bit faded from the sun, but it still says Kurapati Enterprises clear enough for people to see. If you’re coming from Nalgonda, you have to take the main road through Garidepally to find us in Velidanda. We don't have any fancy mission or anything. We just open the doors in the morning and close them when the sun goes down. Prabhakar taught me to be honest with everyone who comes by, so that's what I do. It’s a simple life out here.
