Maya Computer

We've been operating Maya Computer on the Barpeta-Howly Road for quite some time now. Being right in Joypur Bazar means we see a lot of people passing through every single day. The shop is tucked away but most locals know the spot by now. It’s mostly just us handling whatever comes through the door. Sometimes it’s a slow computer that needs a clean-up, and other times it’s someone looking for a specific cable we might have in a drawer somewhere. We don't have a flashy storefront or anything like that. It’s a practical space with a few workstations and a lot of wires. My email is on the sign outside, which is how some people reach me when I’m not at the desk. The road outside is usually noisy with traffic heading toward Howly, but inside it’s mostly just the sound of fans and typing. We try to keep things straightforward. If something can’t be fixed, we just say so. There’s no point in making things complicated for people who are just trying to get their work done. We’ve seen the bazaar change over the years, but our little corner remains pretty much the same. It’s a bit dusty because of the road, but we keep the equipment covered as much as we can. We usually open up early before the heat gets too bad. It's just a regular local business helping out our neighbors in Joypur with whatever tech stuff they need.
