Computer Garage

Our little shop is situated in Nikashi, right near the High School. It’s a handy location because teachers and students often drop by when their laptops or computers start acting up. We call it Computer Garage because that is exactly how it feels. It’s a bit cramped inside with towers, monitors, and loose wires scattered across the workbenches. We spend most of our time hunched over electronics with screwdrivers and soldering irons. There is usually a pile of old parts in the corner that we keep just in case we need a specific screw or a bracket. It isn't a shiny retail store where everything is behind glass. Most of the stuff here is being taken apart or put back together. The dust is a constant battle, but we try to keep the sensitive parts clean. When the school bell rings, the street outside gets busy for a while, and then it quietens down again. We have a small bench for customers to sit on while they wait for a quick fix. Sometimes we can't fix something right away and it has to sit on the shelf for a few days. We don't use big words to explain what’s wrong; we just tell people what needs to be replaced. That is how we run things here at Computer Garage. It’s just us fixing whatever comes through the door in Nikashi. We like the work and the people who come in to chat.
