Shyam Oil & Rice Mills

Our business is located in Ramnagar, just off the Kashipur Road in Udham Singh Nagar. Shyam Oil & Rice Mills is a bit different because we handle both oil and rice milling at the same site. This means there’s usually twice as much going on. On one side, you might hear the heavy press for the seeds, and on the other, the rice hullers are humming away. It creates a unique mix of smells that you get used to after a few days. The mill is a working environment, so it’s not particularly quiet or clean. We spend a lot of time moving sacks from one area to another and keeping an eye on the output. We know the local farmers well because they’ve been coming to us for years. We don't have any big corporate plans or a fancy mission statement. We just want to get the milling done and make sure people get their products on time. It’s a lot of manual work, and we often go home with tired backs. The machinery is older but reliable, and we know how to keep it going. We don’t bother with promotional talk. We just show up, do the work, and go home. It’s a steady way of life here in Ramnagar. Sometimes the yard is a mess of tractors and trucks, but we manage to get through it. It’s just how we run things.
