Rasoli Grih Udyog is located over in Naini. We are at 22/2C, which is Jb Singh’s place. It’s a small home-scale industry. That's what a Grih Udyog is, after all. We don't have a big office or a line of fancy cars outside. It’s just a workspace where we produce our goods. We focus on food items that people use every day in their kitchens. It’s a lot of manual labor. We do the grinding, mixing, and packing ourselves. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait it out. That's just life here in Naini. We started this because we wanted to have our own thing. It’s grown a bit since we began, but it’s still small enough that we know everyone who works here. We don't have a website or a big advertising budget. Word of mouth is usually how people find out about us. We keep our overhead low so we can keep going. It’s not always easy and the margins are tight. But we like the work. It feels good to make something with your own hands. We spend our evenings getting ready for the next day's orders. It’s a simple life and we are okay with that. If you come by 22/2C you’ll see us busy at work. We try to be helpful to anyone who stops by with questions about what we do. It’s a modest setup but it is ours.
