New Janta Band

We are New Janta Band, located right in Gandhi Gali in Ramnagar. If you are looking for our shop, we are very close to Krishna Pansari. This part of Nainital is always humming with people and shoppers. Our band has been around, and we mostly focus on weddings and local processions. We keep all our instruments and uniforms at the shop in the lane. It’s a tight space, but it’s been our home for a long time. You can hear us practicing sometimes in the afternoons. The drums and brass instruments take up a lot of room. We aren't some fancy agency, just a group of musicians and staff trying to make a wedding feel like a real wedding. Sometimes the uniforms get a bit dusty from the road work, but we keep them as neat as we can for the clients. Running a band means late nights and walking long distances during the baraat. Our legs get tired, but the energy of the crowd keeps us going. Most people in Ramnagar know where Gandhi Gali is. We have a lot of regular families who come back to us when the next child in the family gets married. It’s a tradition for us. We don't use much technology, just our ears and the rhythm. If you pass by Krishna Pansari, just ask for the band shop, and someone will point you to us. We are just local people doing what we know best.
