The building we are in is nothing special to look at, but it’s sturdy and holds everything we need. Most mornings start with unlocking the heavy doors and checking what needs to go out for the day. There is a lot of shouting and noise from the market nearby, which is just part of the atmosphere here. We deal with a lot of regular people who have been coming to us for years. They know our faces and we know theirs. Sometimes we sit around the small table in the back and have a quick lunch while the fans hum overhead. The paperwork piles up on the desk, and sometimes it takes us a few days to get through it all, but the actual work with the goods always comes first. We don't have any flashy signs or big advertisements. People just know where we are. It’s a simple setup, and we like it that way because it lets us focus on the day-to-day tasks without getting distracted by things that don't matter much.
