We set up Kreative Architects & Interiors right on Nainital Road. If you know where Krishna Shah Hospital is, we’re just near there. Being in Nainital means we deal with the hills and the weather every day, which definitely influences how we think about buildings. The office is a practical space, nothing too special to look at, but it’s where all the ideas get put on paper. We have been at this 263001 address for a bit now and the locals know us pretty well. It’s a busy road so there’s always something going on outside. Inside, it’s usually just us hunched over computers or drawing boards. We don’t spend money on fancy brochures or big ads. Most of our work comes from people walking in or hearing about us from a neighbor. It’s a small operation here near the hospital. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when we have a few people visiting at once, but we manage fine. We like the location because it’s easy for people to find us when they’re coming into town. We talk to a lot of different people about their houses and shops. It’s honest work and we try to keep it simple without using a lot of technical jargon that nobody understands. We just tell it like it is and show what we can do on the drawing board. Nainital is a unique place to work and we’re glad to be part of the community here, just doing what we know how to do best for the folks around us.
