Kaafal Agritech Private Limited

Kaafal Agritech Private Limited is located in the village of Dankanya. We work from the home of Mrs. Leela Devi Sanwal, near the Nayeli post office. We chose the name Kaafal because it is a local fruit that everyone here loves. We are interested in agritech, which just means we look for better ways to do our farming using a bit of modern knowledge. However, we are still a very small operation. We don’t have a big laboratory or fancy equipment. Most of our work involves testing things out in the local fields and seeing what actually works in our soil. Mrs. Sanwal’s place serves as our main meeting point and storage area. We spend a lot of time chatting with other farmers in Dankanya about their problems. Sometimes the rain is too late, or the pests are too much. We try to find practical solutions that do not cost too much money. It is a lot of trial and error. We do not make any big promises or use marketing talk. We are just local people trying to improve things a little bit each year. The pace is slow and we like it that way. You can usually find us drinking tea and looking over some notes about the last harvest. It is honest, quiet work in a beautiful part of the world. We just keep trying new things and seeing how they go in the garden.
