Hot And Spice

We are set up on Nainital Road in Haldwani. The old RTO office is just nearby, so that is usually how people find their way to Hot And Spice. The road outside is a main one, so there are always cars and buses passing by. Our shop is a simple one. We spend most of our time near the stove. It gets quite smoky when we are busy, but that is just part of the job. In a place like Haldwani, you get a lot of people traveling through towards the hills. We see a lot of different faces every day. Some people stop for a quick bite before heading up the road. We keep things pretty basic here. There are a few tables and chairs, but nothing luxury. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are more concerned with the food. We start our day early to get the spices ready. The 263139 area is home to us. It can be a bit noisy with the traffic, but we are used to it by now. We do not have a big team, just a few of us working together to get the orders out. We have been here for a while and plan to stay. It is just a straightforward place to get something to eat while you are on the move. We keep the door open to let some air in, and the smells from the kitchen usually drift out onto the street.
