ALAMAK ENGINEERS & CONTRACTORS PRIVATE LIMITED is based at House Number 255 in Kidwai Nagar, Haldwani. This is down in the Nainital district. It’s a regular neighborhood office, not some big corporate building. We handle engineering and contracting work for different projects around Uttarakhand. The space is usually filled with rolls of blueprints, technical books, and various pieces of equipment. We’ve got a small group here, some engineers and some guys who manage the on-site contracting. It’s a busy mix of office work and field visits. We spend a lot of time on dusty sites, especially since Haldwani is the gateway to the hilly areas. We don’t use any complex jargon or try to act more professional than we need to be. We just talk plain and do the work that we’ve been hired for. Kidwai Nagar is a good place to be. We know the local shopkeepers and our neighbors. Sometimes the office gets messy when we are in the middle of a big project, but we manage to get things sorted eventually. We don’t have a huge corporate structure. If you call us, you’ll probably just talk to one of us who is sitting at the desk that day. We’ve been doing this for a long time and we like running our own business here. It is solid, honest work.
