Our factory, Jalaram Flexo Laminates Pvt. Ltd., is located at Kh No. 201/1 in Mouza Waddhamana, right by the Wanadongri Bypass. It’s a large industrial shed because the machines we use for flexo lamination are quite long and heavy. There’s a constant sound of rollers turning and plastic moving through the lines. The bypass road outside is always full of heavy traffic, which makes it easy for our supplies to come and go. Inside, it’s all about the work. We have rolls of film and bags of resin stacked in the corners. It’s a bit loud and can get quite warm when all the heaters are running. We aren't a polished corporate entity with people in suits. We are usually in our work clothes, checking the tension on the machines or looking at the print quality on the laminates. Sometimes things break down and we have to spend the whole night fixing a motor or a roller. It’s just the reality of running a plant like this. We have a small group of workers who have been with us since we started. We don't make big promises, we just produce the rolls as they are ordered. It’s a practical, hardworking environment where we just try to keep the machines running and the orders moving.
