Sai Flex Creation

Sai Flex Creation is over at No. 6 Saroja Complex on Amravati Road in the Wadi area. If you’ve ever walked down Amravati Road, you probably know the Saroja Complex because it’s a busy spot with several different shops. We are the ones with the smell of ink and the sound of large-scale printers running in the background. We make banners, signs, and all sorts of flex prints for local events and businesses. The shop is filled with rolls of white material and big canisters of ink. It’s a messy business, and there are usually scraps of vinyl on the floor by the end of the day. We have a couple of computer stations where we layout the designs before sending them to the machines. It is not a quiet place, as those printers can really hum when they get going. People from all over Wadi come in with their ideas, and we try to get the colors to look just right on the fabric. My nephew helps me with the digital side of things while I handle the actual printing and cutting. The overhead lights are bright so we can see the details of the prints, which is really important when the colors are similar. We don't do much advertising ourselves, as the big signs we put out front usually do the job of letting people know we are here. It’s a steady rhythm of work, especially during festival seasons when everyone wants a new banner.
