Ved Watches

We are located on the Main Road in Sitabuldi. Being in such a busy part of Nagpur means there is always noise from the traffic outside. Ved Watches has been in this spot for years. The shop is small, mostly taken up by the glass counters where we keep the wristwatches and the wall clocks. There is a small workbench in the corner with a bright lamp where the actual repair work happens. It’s quiet work, looking through a magnifying glass at tiny gears and springs. My hands are usually a bit oily from the clock parts. We see a lot of old watches that people want to get running again because they belonged to their grandfathers. Some are just cheap ones that need a new battery. The floor tiles are a bit cracked near the door from all the foot traffic over the years. We don’t have a big staff, just a couple of us who know how to handle the tools. Sometimes the Main Road gets so loud you can’t hear the ticking, but inside it’s mostly just us working away. We keep the glass clean so people can see the different straps and faces. It’s not a fancy showroom, just a place where we fix things and sell a few pieces. People know us for being here every day, rain or shine. We just keep our heads down and focus on the watches.
