Uppasna General Stores

Our shop, Uppasna General Stores, is over at Plot No 540 on Jadumal Road. This is just off Manewada Road in Nagpur. If you know where Siddeaswar Hall is, we are very close to that. It is a decent neighborhood to have a store in. We sell all the usual things you would expect to find in a general store. Things like washing powder, tea leaves, biscuits, and notebooks for the school kids. The shop is not very large, but we try to fit as much as we can on the shelves. It is mostly just me and sometimes a family member helping out during the busy times. We have seen the 440024 area grow over the years. More houses have come up and the roads have gotten busier than they used to be. We get a lot of people stopping by on their way home from work. It is a regular routine for us, opening up and checking what needs to be ordered for the next day. The mornings are usually spent talking to the milk delivery guys and getting things ready for the first customers. We do not have any big marketing plans or anything like that. We just focus on keeping the place clean and the shelves stocked. Sometimes the fan makes a bit of noise, and the floor is a bit worn out, but it is home to us. It is just a local shop for the people who live around Jadumal Road. We like being part of Nagpur.
