Trimurti Kirana Bhandar Dhanya & General Store

Our shop is called Trimurti Kirana Bhandar Dhanya & General Store. It is situated on Rameshwari Road, right at Rameshwari Square in Bhagwan Nagar. We are very close to the Durga Mandir, so during festival times, the whole area gets very crowded with people coming to pray. We sell grains, pulses, and all kinds of kirana items that families need for their daily meals. I spend most of my day weighing out lentils or sugar into small bags. It is a lot of manual work. The dust from the flour sometimes gets on my clothes but that is just part of the job. We have been in this spot for years. The neighbors all know us by name. Some people come in just to chat for a few minutes while they buy their tea leaves. We keep some general items too, like batteries or washing powder. The shop isn't very large, so we have bags of rice stacked up against the walls. Sometimes it's hard to move around when a big shipment comes in. We don't do any fancy advertising. People just see the sign and walk in. The sun hits the front of the store in the afternoon, so it gets quite warm inside. I usually sit near the entrance to catch whatever breeze there is. It is just a simple life here near the temple, selling what people need for their homes.
