Swarajya Blind Tea

We are located at Shop No. 118 in Gayatri Tower. It’s right by the Telephone Exchange and close to Gandhi Bagh. Most people know the area because of the park. Swarajya Blind Tea is just a small shop in the corner of the building. We have tea chests stacked up and it’s a bit cramped inside most of the time. We spend our time weighing out leaves and talking to the people who walk in. It’s a quiet part of the tower usually. We like being near the Telephone Exchange because it’s easy to tell people where to go. The shop has been here for a bit. We don’t have fancy lights or anything. Just the basics. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty with all the tea leaves. We keep our own hours mostly, depending on how much work there is to do. We’re just normal people trying to run a business. We don't do big advertisements. Most of the folks who know us just live nearby or walk past on their way to Gandhi Bagh for a stroll. The shop has a specific smell of dry tea leaves. It’s nice. We enjoy the work, even when it’s repetitive. We handle everything ourselves. It’s just how we operate. Not many people realize how much tea moves through a small shop like this. We just stay busy and keep the shelves stocked up. That's about all there is to it.
