Shri Krishna Parlour

Shri Krishna Parlour is a small shop at number 42 on Somalwar School Road. We are over in the Khamla area of Nagpur, not too far from Badjate Hospital. Because we are so close to the school, we hear the bells ringing and the kids shouting every afternoon when they finish their classes. It’s a lively spot to have a business. The shop is quite simple inside. We have the usual chairs and the mirrors, and a small area where people can wait their turn. Most of the people who come in are from the local houses around Khamla. They stop by after work or on their way to the market. We keep the place tidy, sweeping up after every customer. It is just a one-room setup, really. The walls are painted a plain color and we have a few pictures of gods near the entrance. It feels like home to us because we spend so many hours here. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded on the weekends, but everyone is patient. We don't have any fancy equipment, just the stuff that has worked for us for years. Being near Badjate Hospital means we get some visitors from there too. It is a steady life on Somalwar School Road. We just keep the scissors moving and the conversation going. There is no need for anything more than that in a place like this.
