Shree Raj Kirana

Shree Raj Kirana is situated in Akash Nagar on Manewada Road in Nagpur. We are pretty close to the Vigyan Nagar Colony, so we get a lot of regulars coming in from that side. It’s a typical kirana shop with big bags of grains and shelves full of packaged goods. I handle most of the daily operations myself. Nagpur can get really hot in the summer, so the shop stays cool enough in the shade of the building. The 440024 area is a good community to be a part of. We try to stock the brands that people like, but sometimes we just get whatever is available from the distributors. It is not a corporate chain, just a local business sitting right on the road. The Manewada Road is always moving with traffic, but inside the shop, it is a bit slower. I spend my time reorganizing the shelves or checking the dates on the products we sell. We don't have a fancy website or anything like that, just the shop front you see. Most people just walk in, get what they need, and have a little talk before leaving. It has been this way for years. Nothing too complicated about how we run things. Just keeping the pantry items ready for the neighbors. Sometimes we close a bit early if it is a holiday. The Vigyan Nagar Colony folks are good people and we enjoy serving them.
