Shree Geeta Vastu Bhandar

Shree Geeta Vastu Bhandar is located right by the Geeta Mandir on Subhash Road in Nagpur. I’ve been sitting at this counter for quite a while now. Being so close to the temple means we see a lot of people coming and going for prayers. We mostly keep items people need for their daily rituals like diyas, incense, and some household basics. The street outside is always full of traffic and the sound of bells from the mandir is something you get used to. It’s a small space, mostly filled with boxes and bags. Sometimes it’s hard to find where I put the smaller items because things just get piled up during the busy morning rush. My cousin helps me out on the weekends when it gets really crowded. We don’t really do much advertising or anything like that. People just know we are here. The floor is old stone and it stays cool in the summer which is nice. I spend my afternoons drinking tea and waiting for the evening crowd to show up after work. It’s not a fancy business but it keeps us busy and pays the bills. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the stock arrives all at once and the place looks like a mess for a day or two. That is just how it goes here in Nagpur. We just take it one day at a time and serve whoever walks in.
