Shiv Shakti General Emporium

Shiv Shakti General Emporium is tucked away in Shop No. 2 of the Adhyapak Bhawan. We are right opposite the ST Bus Stand in Ganesh Peth, Nagpur. Being across from the bus stand means we get a lot of travelers passing through. People are always in a hurry, catching their buses or just arriving in the city. We sell a bit of everything that a traveler or a local resident might need. It’s a small shop, and it can get a bit cramped when too many people come in at once. Nagpur gets really hot, so we try to keep the shop as cool as possible for whoever walks in. We aren't trying to be a big chain or anything. It's just a local business where we manage the daily sales ourselves. Sometimes we run out of change, or a customer is in a rush and drops their bags, but we just help them out. The noise from the buses is something we’ve just gotten used to over the years. We open early because that’s when the first buses start moving. Most of our day is spent watching the crowds and making sure the inventory is okay. It’s a busy life in Ganesh Peth, but we’ve been here long enough that it feels normal. No fancy decorations here, just shelves full of goods and a counter to pay at.
